Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah

Cedar Breaks, beautiful in its own right, was also like a sneak preview of Bryce Canyon, about 40 miles East, because it has the same shade of orange rock so characteristic of Bryce and even some of the strange pillars known as hoodoos.

From the Breaks, it was only about 7 miles North to Brian Head where we enjoyed 3 nights at bargain off-season rates at the Grand Lodge ski resort starting on the evening 9/16.
